Seethed Together
Belated Asides: A Weekly Presentation of Poetry and Prose
Seethed Together
Overcast skies blanket every precious one
with a righteous sense of early slumber—
restfully protected from the rigor
of life's magnetic history.
Instincts are compelled
to pay great prices
by forces of repulsion,
but in this moment,
there's reprieve from the noise
that anchors its banner
to signs of invincible surety.
Helios prominently cooks all
and exhibits providence over day.
By centric courses are ours made
to rise and set in their way.
A remnant gloom's canopy keeps such facts furled
for a calm moment, just past a stormy breath of peril.
Our windows are pattered
out of solar reach.

Kameron, this soulful poem invites me into that quiet tension between light and dark, storm and stillness ... a contemplative pause at the sacred threshold where cosmic rhythm meets human vulnerability.
For me, it evokes a pane within us, just beyond the solar reach, where silence meets sensation and the soul remembers its shape ... a threshold of light and shadow, always waiting to be touched.
It’s the kind of offering that feels perfect for Samhain ... a time when veils thin, and the inner windows open to mystery, memory and the unseen. Bravo! 🙏💖
What a painted and refreshing view of what it feels like to be taken out of the cycle. And to become enamored with its parts from the center of the clock.
It invites me to suspend my thoughts on what has been and what comes next. And to pay homage to the short moments I’ve been left alone to sit in with my thoughts. And all the moments that will be.
A microcosm/macrocosm dancing forever.
Well Done sir.
